“Conca d’Oro Organic Agricultural Company” of Alessandro Alessandrini has been handed down from father to son for four generations. Since 1985 the Conca d’Oro Company has increased the production of Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil by expanding the cultivation of Olives with over 13.000 plants of the varieties: Leccino, Pendolino, Frantoio and Oliva Tenera Ascolana. From all these varieties of olives we get a typical oil of the Piceno region, essential in healthy Mediterranean cookery.
The Company is located on the hills of the inland Piceno at an altitude of 250 meters above sea level, exposed to the south-east: this particular arrangement is ideal for the cultivation of the olive tree because it favors a slow maturation of the fruits and gives particular organoleptic properties such as delicacy, scent and flavor to the extracted oil.
Great attention is paid to the genuineness of Oil, produced by implementing Organic Agriculture techniques in all its aspects, not using pesticides and fertilizers of a chemical nature but reusing composted culturing by-products to obtain the natural organic substance necessary for cultivation.
Having restored a typical Marche farmhouse you can also stay overnight in our Farm House, opened all year, which has 12 rooms with private bathroom. It offers guests a pleasant and relaxing moments, for complete relaxation with panoramic views of the “Picene” hills characterized by “Calanchi” with olive trees that grow surrounding the farm. Visits to the farm are welcome for tasting Conca d’Oro Organic Olive Oil.
